Traditional Music for Orchestral Instruments

This workshop introduces orchestral instumentalists to taditional music. Participants will explore how traditional melodies,ornamentation and groove can be adapted for instrumants not typically associated with folk traditions. The session will focus on learning a tune bu ear, exploring traditional phrasing and ornamentation, and developing ensemble playing in a relaxed abd collaborative setting.
